I was going to write about my existential crisis but instead I’m going to write about my cats.
The photo is Mobius AKA Moby. I love Moby. I have two cats Mobius and Luxio. They keep me going.
As I was trying to fold my laundry this morning Mobius decided he needed to sit on the clothes and make my job more difficult. He’s a disruptor. He finds this interaction amusing. My cats live flowing from one amusement to the next. This is enlightenment. Nirvana.
I have decided cats are great Buddhists. Instead of studying Buddhism we should study cats. They can teach us how to live. They have no attachments and no possessions (except me maybe).
They don’t care about Elon Musk or Donald Trump. They don’t care about the AI revolution or what it’s going to do to humanity. They are not on social media (at least they don’t know they are and they don’t care about it) and they don’t care about money.
I am grateful for my cats and everything they teach me every day.
